Summer Basketball Camp
Open to grades 2-8 (grades as of 2019-20 school year) Designed for all skill levels/abilities Monday, July 8- Thursday July 11, 2019 Grades 2-5 9:00a-12:00p Grades 6-8 1:00p-4:00p Youth Camps Features: · Learn from the Skyview High School Basketball Staff and current Skyview players · Each player will receive a Camp T-shirt and Skyview Logo Basketball to take home · Skills and drills for beginning and advanced players · 5 on 5 scrimmage situations to improve teamwork · Awards for camp team champions · Individual awards for being coachable · Individual and team skill competitions |
Elite Skills Camps
Open to grades 5-8 Designed for player with multiple years of playing experience Elite Shooting Camp Monday, July 15, 2018—10:00a-12:00p Elite Ball Handling Camp Tuesday, July 16, 2018—10:00a-12:00p Skills Camps Features: · Learn from the Skyview High School Basketball Staff and current Skyview players · Work on advanced skills and drills to use and take home · Use of video technology to teach/refine skills · Learn in a fun, competitive environment, with other players who want to get better |
Costs
(all proceeds are a fundraiser for the Skyview Boys Basketball Program)
Youth Camp:
$100 (sibling discount of $5 off per camper - i.e. - $190 for two siblings total)
Skills Camps:
Elite Shooting Camp: $25
Elite Ball Handling Camp:$25
**If you attend both SKILLS CAMPS, the total will be reduced to $40
** We encourage players to do both the summer camp and Skills Camps, as they will focus on different aspects of the game of basketball.

Join us for some hard work, fun and BASKETBALL! The Skyview Basketball Camp will emphasize the keys to the Storm Basketball Program: Fundamentals, Positive Attitude, Teamwork and Hustle. Led by Head Coach Matt Gruhler and the rest of the Skyview High School coaching staff, assisted by with current Storm players, the campers will have fun learning the game with instruction on an individual and team basis. Players will learn and refine the fundamentals of basketball including: shooting, dribbling, passing, defense and teamwork.
